Welcome to our web site!
Heartfelt Ministries is a husband and wife team. Daryl Walker ministers the infallible
Word of God, and Joy, is a soloist who sings southern gospel music. Their daughter plays the keyboard,
accompanying Joy on some songs, and their son tells jokes, and is currently learning to play guitar.
As you will see on the Calendar of Events page,
Heartfelt Ministries sing and/or preach at many different events. God has blessed them
beyond measure!
They ask for your continued prayers that they will be available vessels of honor that God
can work through in any way possible. May God be given the glory and honor due Him!
Joy recorded her first cd in February of 2003. Included on the album, are two of
the songs that God has given Joy, one being the title song, THIS COULD BE THE DAY, and the other I WANTA THANK YOU, LORD.
Teesha (their daughter) was the photographer for the cover of the project.
In July of 2004 Joy recorded her second project entitled, "I'VE HAD A LITTLE TASTE OF HEAVEN".
An original song on the cd will be "THE SILENCE OF THE LAMB", a song the Lord gave Joy one sleepless night spent in prayer.
Joy's mother, Rose Lance, joins Joy on a few of the songs on this new project. They pray that you will be deeply touched
and changed by the hand of God for the betterment of His Kingdom as you listen to their music.
If you are interested in purchasing a CD ($12) or Cassette ($8) please email Heartfelt

DADDY'S LAP
Memories of yester-year filter through my mind.
Carefree days of childhood - a time left far behind.
I'd climb on Daddy's lap when worry and fear pressed in.
In the shelter of his arms I'd rest easy once again.
He'd say, "My child, I love you. You're the apple of my eye."
I felt so warm and safe as he held me while I cried.
Many years have come and gone, but I still feel the need
to climb on Daddy's lap when my heart begins to bleed.
The worries and cares of life draw me into Abba's lap.
I'm cleansed by my own tears while His strength closes the gap.
He says, "My child, I love you. You're the apple of my eye.
I'll keep you safe from harm as in Me you abide."
He tells me in my weakness that He will make me strong.
That when I feel so all alone He's been there all along.
I never want to leave this safe and precious place.
For in the shelter of His arms I find amazing grace.
So much time has passed. Daddy's lap I've long outgrown.
But, Abba's lap remains the same...as all His children know.
