HEBREWS 10:22-23
LET US DRAW NEAR WITH A TRUE HEART IN FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH, HAVING OUR HEARTS SPRINKLED WITH PURE WATER.
LET US HOLD FAST THE PROFESSION OF OUR FAITH WITHOUT WAVERING; FOR HE IS FAITHFUL THAT PROMISED.
"Heartfelt" is a husband and wife team who started this ministry in June of 2002. Daryl Walker has known for
a very long time that God has called him to preach the gospel, and at that time, stepped out in faith to fulfill that
call. He has been preaching at churches, nursing homes, campgrounds, live television, and anywhere the Lord has
allowed.
Joy grew up singing in the Pentecostal Church of God that Daryl's grandfather, founded and pastored for many years.
Consequently, that's where the couple met back when they were about 4 years old. His grandfather had a great impact
on both of their lives and he will live on in their hearts forever. He was a wonderful man who had a great amount of
knowledge and wisdom in the things of God. Daryl is both thrilled and overwhelmed at the thought of following in his
grandfather's foot steps.
Mountain of Praise, an independent Pentecostal church in Delta, Ohio was their home church for over three years.
Rev. Howard and Betty Fuller were their pastors during that time. While attending this church, Daryl and Joy
served as youth directors for a while. They also served in that capacity prior to that at another church also.
For the last 4 years, Joy has been singing on the churches television broadcast just about every Sunday
morning at 7:00AM on Fox 36 out of Toledo, Ohio. They still consider Mountain of Praise Church their home church although
they cannot be there regularly.
The couple have also traveled all over the state of Ohio, and sometimes out of state with the southern gospel group,
Jericho Road. Joy singing alto for the quartet, and Daryl running the groups sound system, and preaching whenever given
the opportunity. They thoroughly enjoyed traveling and ministering with Jericho Road, however, they left Jericho
Road in December in order to spend more time together as a family. Between Heartfelt Ministries and Jericho Road, Daryl's
full-time job, homeschooling the kids, and just trying to have a "normal" life. They felt like they were starting to
burn out...so with much prayer...and feeling led by God...they left J.R. and have concentrated on spreading God's Word through
HEARTFELT MINISTRIES. Though they have slowed down considerably, they continue to stay very busy, but they have adopted
the motto, "We'd rather wear out for JESUS than rust out for the devil."
They spent over a year pastoring a church in Weston, Ohio. However, with the start of the new year, felt God
was closing this door, which proved to be true as of February 1st, which was their last day as pastors. It was a wonderful
opportunity and much was learned. God was very good to the church. Now, they continue to travel, and preach and
sing as Heartfelt Ministries where ever the Lord opens the doors.
They have two children. A daughter who plays the piano at many events and a son who is learning to play the guitar.
Occasionally, he enjoys telling Christian jokes. Mom and Dad are thrilled to have them actively involved
in "Heartfelt Ministries".
The couple will come and minister the infallible Word of God in song and sermon on a love offering basis. It's their
desire to see hearts and lives changed forever through this ministry. Their mission is simple . . . to see souls saved
. . . period. Nothing more and nothing less. They long to be God's hand extended in a lost and hurting world as
time draws to a close.
The name HEARTFELT came from their deep longing to drink from the well of God's heart and then share it with others.
If you would be interested in having us come and minister at your church or event, please email us at walkerj.6@juno.com We love the Lord with all of our hearts and it's our desire to be a blessing whenever and wherever God leads
us.
We love you with the love of the Lord. May God richly bless you all.
"HEARTFELT MINISTRIES"
Daryl & Joy Walker, Minister/Singer
Our heartfelt prayer is that God will bless each and every one of you with health, happiness, and prosperity as you serve
Him! We sincerely covet your prayers as we attempt to step out to evangelize our world through song and sermon.
Please pray that God will always remain our focus, for without Him, we have no ministry and can do nothing. But, with
Him . . . ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
